My husband, Barry and I have talked about adopting a little girl from China for several years. Sometime in August of 2004, we decided to start praying about it and God laid it upon our hearts to go through with it. We have two biological sons named Samuel, who is 8 years old and Josiah, who is 5 years old. As a family, we decided to name her Grace. The boys have been praying for Grace since before they knew that we would adopt. We are now waiting for a referral. We know that God has had this in His plans since the beginning of time. In Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you," says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."(NLT) God gives us hope and we trust in him. We know that God is blessing us with a daughter and blessing her with a family who already loves her even though we have never seen her.

Wow, the boys are growing so fast. I will never forget them entertaining the passengers on our way to Tokyo. So cute! Thanks for posting the pic of Esther and Grace. Both girls are beautiful. Hope things are going well in Dallas. We will miss you in Nashville.

Hi, Elmores! I found your blog and thought I'd leave a little note. The kids are so cute! How is life in Dallas? We miss y'all! We're starting work on a new CD in our bedrooms (girls' bedroom for vocals and boys' bedroom for instruments :) So we're staying busy. Merry Christmas!
